Hi everyone,

My name is Tom. I started studying code on and off since 2016. About 2 months ago I have gotten pretty serious with it and have dedicated more time than usual to it.

I started with C++ as my first language. I really had no idea what I was reading and studying. I read as much as I could and burned out. A chronic cycle of reading syntax over and over again doesn’t really retain unless you actually exercise this stuff.

Now my primary focus is Python. I made the transition and like it much more than C++. And from this now I understand what C++ is about from learning Python!

I hope to add more to this blog atleast each week and keep it updated with what I have learned. How I will organize all these posts.. I have some ideas to keep it from going all over the place.
